Could this be the start of a beautiful friendship? Britney Spears took to her Twitter account to share her love for Adele, who recently name dropped the pop icon during an  i-D magazine interview.

In the interview, the "Hello" singer, 27, was asked about her plans after her highly anticipated album "25" drops on Nov. 20.

"I'd like to tour properly," the singer responded. "I'd like to see Britney in Vegas. Dunno about more kids. Maybe after what [music video director] Xavier [Dolan] said, I'll go into acting... I'd like to make another record... I'd like to be able to stand the test of time and the speed that the world is moving. I'd like to make records forever with the time I've been given for this one. If I can do that I'll be really f---ing happy."

The feeling was equally mutual for Spears, who is apparently a huge fan of the British singer.

"@Adele I'll trade you 2 tickets to my show for 2 tickets to YOURS! Stop by #PieceOfMe and say #Hello anytime," Spears wrote on the social media site.

Spears is not the only celebrity who is a fan of Adele. Sam Smith, Lena Dunham, Russell Crowe, Katy Perry and John Stamos all tweeted their love for the singer after she released her first piece of new music in three years.
