The Tampa Bay Rays play the Boston Red Sox on Saturday in Game 2 of their AL division series. The game starts at 5:37 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE.
Tampa Bay looks to bounce back from its 12-2 loss in Game 1. The game unraveled for the Rays in the fourth inning, starting with Will Myers letting a flyball drop for a ground-rule double and Matt Moore arriving late to cover first base, leading to three more runs, according to the Associated Press.
"We've been playing very well. We've not been making many mistakes. We made a bunch tonight," Rays manager Joe Maddon said, via the Associated Press. "But I've also learned one other thing regarding baseball: 24 hours can make a huge difference. That's just one game, baby. That's just one. We'll be back tomorrow. I promise you."
Tampa Bay fans hope their team can bounce back behind the arm of pitcher David Price, who's slated to take the mound on Saturday. Price (10-8, 3.33 ERA) looks to win his first postseason start with a win over Boston. In 20 career starts against the Red Sox, Price is 10-6 with a 2.93 ERA.
Speculation persists that Price may be in his final season with the Rays. He's set to become a free agent after the 2015 season, and Tampa could try to trade him before his contract expires. Despite the possibility, Price is focused on the present.
"Whatever happens, I want to completely absorb myself and my team and my teammates like we have all year," Price told the team website. "And that's a big part of why we're here right now."
John Lackey (10-13, 3.52) starts for Boston on Saturday. In nine starts as a Red Sox pitcher against the Rays, Lackey is 3-5 with a 6.70 ERA.
