The Good Wife Season 5 Spoilers: Will vs. Peter Who Will Alicia Choose?; Juliana Margulies talks Love Triangle and New Firm

We’re only a few days away from Alicia Florrick’s (Julianna Margulies) Lockhart Gardner departure and according to Marguiles, there’s going to be a “bloodbath.”

In a recent interview with EOnline’s Kristin Dos Santos, Marguiles said Alicia hasn’t really comprehended what she’s done by leaving her former firm.

"I think she doesn't realize the impact it will have and the bloodbath that she leaves behind," Margulies said. "That for Will and Diane (Christine Baranski) that was treason."

Besides Alicia’s life changing job decision, the other major storyline leading into Season 5 is the love triangle that is Alicia, Peter (Chris Noth) and Will (Josh Charles).

Margulies explained that when it comes to Will, that attraction isn’t going away anytime soon.

"I think she knows as long as she's at Lockhart and Gardner, there's no way to make her marriage work," Margulies tells Dos Santos. "Because she'll always be seeing Will.

The actress adds that Alicia had a choice between making her marriage work and starting a new firm, or staying at Lockhart Gardner and having her marriage end in divorce. However, Margulies adds that one of her favorite scenes from last season was seeing Alicia “come undone” in the car with Will. Coming “undone” is something Margulies wants to see again.

"What I root for in Alicia is for her to let her hair down and to do what feels good, not what feels right. I, as the fan of the show, want to see her come undone again,” she said, “Because I think she's so buttoned up and so afraid, she holds her cards so close to the vest.”

Both of the men in Alicia’s life are going to have issues that make it hard for them to be with her. In the promo, which can be viewed here, we can see that Peter may meet a new temptress and Alicia’s decision may put a slight strain on his relationship with her.
