Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina seemingly supports a House measure that would remove Rep. John Boehner, R-Ohio, from his position as speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Fiorina, a former Hewlett-Packard CEO who dominated the Republican presidential debates Thursday, told Breitbart that she is frustrated with how Boehner and his Senate counterpart Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-K.Y., have failed to produce satisfactory results.

"I'm frustrated. People worked incredibly hard - tens of thousands of activists across the country spent their time, energy, and money to win this historic majority in the House and a majority in the Senate. Change was promised, but people don't see that change," Fiorina said. "Instead, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Act still hasn't passed Congress, even though it's the right thing to do and even the politically smart thing to do. It's a leader's job to produce results."

"If Congressional leaders can't produce results, they need to step aside," she added.

An unprecedented motion recently filed by Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., calls for Boehner to be removed from his position as speaker of the House, the first time such a measure has ever been filed, as HNGN previously reported. Boehner "has endeavored to consolidate power and centralize decision-making, bypassing the majority of the 435 Members of Congress and the people they represent," the motion, which isn't expected to pass or come to vote, states.

Fiorina didn't qualify for Thursday night's prime time debate, but she clearly won the undercard debate held earlier in the evening, and most Americans told pollsters that they think she performed better than any candidate in both debates. Since that performance, the pro-life conservative has soared ahead in the polls, going from 14th place before the debate to within the top five in three new polls released Tuesday, reports The New York Post.

In her interview with Breitbart, Fiorina said that she wouldn't rule out shutting down the government in order to defund Planned Parenthood and address the recently published videos of Planned Parenthood officials discussing the harvesting and sale of aborted baby body parts.

"These Planned Parenthood videos have horrified Americans across the country - regardless of party affiliation or whether you are pro-life or pro-choice - and the pressure on Congress will be enormous," she told Breitbart. "This is about the moral foundation of this nation. We have to ask every Democrat how can you continue to support taxpayer funding for an organization that decides how to kill a baby to best harvest its organs?"

She added: "This isn't a political battle. This is about saving lives. We now have a majority in both houses. On this issue, I don't believe we should take any option off the table."
