Virgin Atlantic Appoints New General Manager For UK Sales

Virgin Atlantic announces Scott Davies as the new general manager of UK sales, according to Breaking Travel News.

Former commercial director at Amadeues, Scott Davies, will be a part of Virgin Atlantic as a general manager of UK sales. Davies will be in charge of the airline's UK sales and revenue performance. Davies has a vast experience in the field of travel and tourism. He worked with Amadeus as a commercial director since 2010, prior to which he had worked with British Airways for more than a decade with his last promotion being head of trade sales in 2009.

"He has a wealth of industry experience and a proven track record of leading sales teams to deliver revenue across all channels. He will be a crucial part of our growth ambitions in the coming months and years, particularly as we continue to grow our network through the launch of our domestic flying programme."
