Princess Madeleine Pregnant: Swedish Royalty Will Give Birth Next March, More Royal Baby Madness to Come?

Brace yourselves: here comes another royal baby.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden and her husband, New York banker Christopher O'Neill, will have their first child in March of 2014, the Associated Press reported.

The Swedish palace stressed on Tuesday that Madeleine's pregnancy wouldn't cause any changes to her datebook for the coming fall season, all her scheduled appearances and conferences will proceed as planned.

Looks like Madeleine's baby is a honeymoon child-the recently wedded couple returned from their romantic post-ceremony vacation in the Seychelles about two months ago, and according to a statement on the Swedish royal court's website, Madeleine is about eight weeks along.

Immediately after their return in July, Madeleine shrugged off questions concerning her plans for a family.

"Right now we are enjoying our life as newlyweds," she said.

But now, news of the bun in the oven is out, and Head press officer for the Swedish Royal Court Bertil Ternert reported that Madeleine herself wanted to publicize the news.

"She was the one who decided to announce the pregnancy now," Ternert said. "Her Royal Highness is feeling fine."

Madeleine is the younger sister of Crown Princess Victoria, who is fourth in line to take over the Swedish throne.

She currently lives in New York with O'Neill.

Will Princess Madeleine see fanfare akin to the royal baby madness of Kate Middleton and Prince William once she starts showing?
