President Snow issued an ominous warning to Katniss Everdeen in the first teaser trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.”

Snow spoke about Panem’s dark history and the peace they’ve been able to keep for their people. He then moved on to explain why resisting the Capitol’s system will only cause those who rebel to “starve” and “bleed.” The camera panned out to reveal Peeta Mellark, Katniss’ friend and fellow Hunger Games winner, standing in a white suit next to Snow.

It is unclear what happened to Peeta at the end of the franchise’s second installment, “Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” At the end of the film, Katniss was informed Peeta was being held at Capitol. The heroine is currently in the mysterious District 13, which no one knew existed until the end of the film.

The latest teaser follows the propaganda-like posters Lionsgate has released to promote the film. The film's “Capitol Ministry of Information” in partnership with Yahoo! Movies has released 12 districts has a "hero" representative and their bios to explain to the people of Panem why they should align with The Capitol.

For example, Elias Haan from District 7 is the "hero" chosen for the Lumber District:

"As you tend to the finest forests and provide your fellow brethren with the most beautiful and flawless lumber, remember that the Capitol treasures your dedication to society. It is your duty as a citizen of Panem to protect the system we have worked tirelessly to conceive. Embrace the challenges of strenuous labor, and remember the instrumental role you play in the preservation of our country."
