While most soon-to-be divorced couples avoid their estranged spouses on Valentine's Day (the world's national day of love), Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are keeping it professional and standing by their promise of putting family first, despite their relationship status.
The estranged couple, who announced their split last summer following 10 years of marriage, were seen boarding a private plane to Montana on Friday with their two children- 7-year-old Seraphina and 3-year-old Samuel, People Magazine reported. The couple's oldest child, 10-year-old Violent, was not photographed with the group.
The Hollywood exes reportedly flew away for a family vacation and "will be spending time together at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky" while their kids' are on "ski week break at school," according to Us Weekly.
Gardner and Affleck may put on smiling faces, but a source claimed that the actress is "still not looking for reconciliation any time soon." The two "are together only for the kids [and] not romantically."
"It hasn't been easy, especially for Jen," a source shared with E! News. "[Garner] chooses to look the other way and do what's best for her kids."
The two continue to live on the same property, with Affleck sleeping in the couple's guesthouse, as previously reported by HNGN. They have been spending plenty of family time together, especially on the holidays.
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple said in a statement to E! News at the time of their divorce announcement. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children, whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding. "
Following news of their divorce, rumors began circulated that Affleck had an affair with his children's nanny, Christine Ouzounian, and that their romance continued after his split from Garner.
A representative for the actor denied the accusations.
