Ben Affleck's representative slammed a recent rumor that the actor is romantically involved with his children's former nanny just one month after announcing his divorce from Jennifer Garner, calling it "garbage."

"The story is complete garbage and full of lies," Affleck's rep said in a statement, People reported. "It's shameful. We are considering legal options."

A recent report by US Weekly claimed that the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star started dating former nanny Christine Ouzounian while he was separated from soon-to-be ex-wife Garner prior to their divorce announcement. Garner, 43,  hired Ouzounian to care for the estranged couple's children ­- Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3 - but fired her after suspecting something was going on between Ouzounian and her husband. 

The 28-year-old nanny is a California native, a communications graduate from Arizona State University and is employed at a high-end Beverly Hills babysitting agency. She has also nannied for Neil Patrick Harris, according to People.

Sources close to Affleck have denied allegations that the 42-year-old actor cheated on his wife during their 10-year marriage.

"We are yet to see any facts," a source told the Daily Mail. "He's a dedicated father and family guy."

Garner and Affleck announced their split last month in a joint statement just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary, as previously reported by HNGN.
