Actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their divorce last month, and even though they're separated, they're not going too far from each other. The former couple will be moving back in together when they return to Los Angeles and will be renting out former model Brooke Shields' Pacific Palisades home, Yahoo News reported.

Despite their imminent divorce, Garner and Affleck will live on the same property in Pacific Palisades in order to co-parent their three children, 9-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina and 3-year old Samuel, according to Page Six. The family is only renting out Shields' property so that they have a place to stay while they renovate the 8,800-square-foot home they purchased in 2009 for $17.5 million. Both homes are located in the same neighborhood in Los Angeles.

"[They] don't want to live in a construction zone," a source said.

Construction started in June at the Garner-Affleck home, and overhead photos taken of the property show a new addition being built on the property near the home. It is assumed that the new building will serve as a "man cave" for Affleck so that he can be closer to his children.

In the meantime, the family will rent out Shields' five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom home. The rental is listed at $30,000 a month, Page Six reported. Shields bought the home in 1997 for $3.3. million, but she has no use for it since she's in New York most of the time.

Affleck and Garner are currently in Atlanta, Ga., where Garner is filming her upcoming movie "Miracles From Heaven," as previously reported by HNGN. The family has done their best to remain a close unit amid the divorce, and Affleck was recently photographed carrying a golden retriever puppy off of a plane as he arrived in Atlanta. A source close to the couple said the puppy is the family's new dog and is an effort to make their divorce as easy as possible for the children.
