Jill and Jessa Duggar talked about the "safeguards" their parents used to protect the girls after their older brother, Josh Duggar, molested them when they were young.

Jill and Jessa initially learned that they were victims after the situation was explained to them by their parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Josh inappropriately touched the girls while they were sleeping, so they didn't know anything happened until Josh confessed to their parents.

During last week's special edition of Megyn Kelly's "The Kelly File" on FOX Jessa and Jill explained the "safeguards" their parents put in place after the incident.

After Jim Bob and Michelle explained the situation to the girls there were "locks on the doors. Girls in the girls room, boys in the boys room," explained Jill.

"My parents said, 'Okay, we're not going to do this hide-and-seek thing where two people go off and hide together,' " Jill added.

The girls agree that their parents handled the situation well.

"I think my parents acted...looking back as an adult now I think my parents handled the situation very well," said Jessa.
