Vince Vaughn, star of popular movies such as "Dodgeball," "Wedding Crashers" and this summer's "The Internship" has welcomed his second child, a boy, into the world.
Vaughn, 43, announced that he and his wife Kyla Weber, were expecting a child during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on April 26. This is the first time I've said anything," the actor said. "We're very excited."
The baby was born in a hospital outside of Los Angeles couple named the boy Vernon Lindsay Vaughn, after Vince Caughn's father, a rep confirmed to Us Weekly. The boy is the couple's second child, after wedding in January of 2010 the two had Locklyn Kyla, who is now 2-years-old.
Us Weekly also reports that when Vaughn recently reunited with his 2005 co-star from the immensely popular film "Wedding Crashers," to film this summers "The Internship" the two men returned to set together as fathers this time.
"In Wedding Crashers we didn't have little kids visiting the set," Wilson, 44, said to. "It wouldn't have been appropriate maybe for little kids, but I think on The Internship it was nice. It was nice to have my son visit - and Vince's family."
"My daughter came to set. That was awesome," Vaughn said. "I don't know if she'll remember it. She's so young! But it always makes it fun for me."
The recent life change comes at a very poignant time for the actor who's next film "Deliver Man" stars him as a middle-aged man who discovers that he is the father to more than 530 children as a result of various sperm donations made throughout the years. The film is due out November 22. While Vaughn's two children are a far cry from the comically large number he'll play father to in the film, it is nonetheless a happy coincidence of art imitating life - or in this case life imitating art. The trailer for the film can be seen below.
