Tameka Foster Raymond shared a touching, heart-warming photo of her son following the pool accident that has left him in the ICU. According to USA Today, Usher's ex-wife, who is currently fighting for custody of their sons, posted a photo of her cradling five-year-old Usher Raymond V in the hospital to her Instagram account.
She captioned the photo: "My favorite 5 year old. What a blessing! I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident. URV had an angel named Kile Ishmael and our Lord and true savior to look after him. Words cannot express the relief and how thankful to God I truly am. Thank you Jehovah God, Jesus and Kile... also The AV worker that saved my son is my Hero!! Period."
Kile Ishmael, was Tameka's 11-year-old from a previous relationship who tragically died last year from injuries from a jet-ski accident. Usher V was rushed to the hospital on Monday following a pool accident at the "Yeah" singers Atlanta home.
According to TMZ, the little boy was in the pool with his aunt when he spotted a toy in the drain at the bottom of the pool and dove under to get it when his arm got caught in the drain.
His aunt immediately tried to free the boy's arm but was unsuccessful. A nanny also tried to help but couldn't get his arm out of the drain either and began yelling for help. A man who was working in Usher's house at the time rushed out and was able to free the boy's arm. Usher V was immediately was immediately taken to the hospital.
Usher was not home at the time of the accident. The next day Tameka filed for primary custody of both kids - User V and Naviyd, 4. According to USA Today, Tameka accuses the superstar of "negligence and failure to properly supervise the minor child." She also claims he uses "third-party caregivers" when he is out on the road.
