A quarrel over "the last rib" at a family cook-out ended with one Indiana woman stabbing another in the eye with a fork.

An affidavit stated that Sabrina A. Davis, of Muncie, Ind., was a guest at another family's barbecue on Sunday night, but things turned ugly when the homeowner's daughter became upset with Davis for "taking the last rib from the kitchen," according to The Star Press.

When confronted about "about taking all the food," Davis proved a horrible houseguest by stabbing the woman in the eye with a fork she had been using "to take meat from a pan."

Davis, 45, was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness.

Officer Amy Kesler wrote in her statement that the victim had "at least two small lacerations on her left eyelid," and her eye was "swollen and bloodshot."

A witness said that the victim "was frustrated that Davis was taking so much food from the house," and after being attacked with the fork, "grabbed a knife from the counter and was trying to get to Davis."

Davis claimed self-defense, telling police that the women had brandished the knife first and Davis only responded with her cutlery weapon to ward off the attack, according to The Star Press.

Davis was still incarcerated in the Delaware County jail on Tuesday under a $5,000 bond. According to Kesler's statement, Davis confirmed "the dispute was over the last rib in a pan."
