Kanye West is having a bad week.

People are so upset the rapper is headlining the Glastonbury Festival that a petition to have him replaced has more than 60,000 signatures as of Thursday. Now, West will not be appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Friday night from South By Southwest as planned.

West was supposed to partake in the show's popular "Mean Tweets" segment, according to Page Six. It involves celebrities reading mean tweets that fans sent at them. The rapper would have had a lot to choose from based off of his polarizing public image.

Page Six also reported that West was set to be in a skit regarding his famous interruptions at award shows. The show made a separate set just for West's episode.

Both sides are denying the report.

“We were never confirmed . . . We took extraordinary steps and worked directly with the show to make it happen. Logistics were insurmountable,” a representative for West said.

Kimmel's people were optimistic about the rapper returning at a later date, saying “We look forward to having Kanye West back on the show.”

The comedian joked about the situation while promoting his show.

"If you do not like Kanye West, make sure to tune in Friday night to not see him," he said.
