Some Glastonbury Music Festival fans reacted negatively after they heard Kanye West would headline the festival in June.

One fan went as far as to set up a petition on change.org, asking Glastonbury to cancel Kanye West's performance and replace him with a rock band, according to NME.com. The petition is titled "Cancel Kanye West's headline slot and get a rock band."

"Kanye West is an insult to music fans all over the world," the petition said. "We spend hundreds of pounds to attend glasto, and by doing so, expect a certain level of entertainment."

"Kanye has been very outspoken on his views on music...he should listen to his own advice and pass his headline slot on to someone deserving! Let's prevent this music injustice now!"

About 21,000 people have signed the petition. Neil Lonsdale from Norfolk, U.K., wrote the petition to get a rock band to perform alongside the Foo Fighters and Lionel Richie, The Mirror reported. In the petition, Lonsdale said Kanye was an "ego-maniac," "untalented" and "the worst musician ever."

Many people agree with Lonsdale and have taken to Twitter to express their anger, according to NME.com. One person tweeted "Kanye West is headlining Glastonbury. I'm sending my ticket back. What a shocking, shocking idea. He doesn't belong anywhere near it."

However, some people said they were excited for Kanye's performance. One person tweeted "Yooooo, I'm going to Glastonbury for the first time this year, and KANYE."

The Glastonbury Music Festival gets about 135,000 attendees. This year, the Foo Fighters and Lionel Richie will headline Friday night and Kanye will headline Saturday. The festival starts June 24 and ends June 28.
