No. 6 Wisconsin heads into the Big Ten tournament on a three-game winning streak, including its regular-season finale win Sunday against Ohio State. The Badgers didn't just beat the Buckeyes, they handed them a 72-48 blowout. Wisconsin center Frank Kaminsky led with 20 points, and forward Sam Dekker added 10 points and eight rebounds.

"This was kind of a statement game for us going into the Big Ten tournament, beating a good team on their home floor," said Kaminsky, according to ESPN. "We're really excited about what's next."

Although the Badgers (28-3) are in the discussion for the No. 1 seed of the upcoming NCAA tournament, Kaminsky admitted the team hasn't been focused on that.

"A lot of people talk about that we could potentially be a No. 1 seed, but that's not necessarily what we're playing for," he said. "We just want to make the tournament. I think we've made a strong case to make the tournament so far."

For Kaminsky, Thursday will be at least somewhat special. He'll be returning to his home state of Illinois on Thursday for the tournament, something not lost on the graduating senior.

"I can't even count how many games that I've seen at the United Center, from when I was born until I graduated high school," Kaminsky said. "Even in college, too, I was going back and going to Bulls games."

Michigan (16-15), meanwhile, concluded its regular season with a 79-69 win against Rutgers. The Wolverines then opened their Big Ten tournament with a convincing 73-55 win Thursday against Illinois.
