It's really happening! Beyonce and Jay Z are reportedly busy working on a new project together. It's been rumored for months that the "Drunk In Love" singer and her rapper beau were secretly collaborating on a new album and their producer, Details, (kind of) confirmed the rumor at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
Details was talking to Billboard about his Grammy win when he teased that he had a few upcoming projects, including one with Mr. and Mrs. Carter.
"I'm working with a couple of new projects that I don't want to unveil, and then me and Beyonce and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year," he said.
"When you think of Jay and Bey, you think 'album.' You should already know," Details added.
In September, Dash Radio's DJ Skee told his listeners that several sources close to the couple had confirmed that Beyonce and Jay Z were recording an album and it was expected to be released at the beginning of 2015.
"The biggest couple in music, maybe entertainment, maybe even the world ... they're working on an album together," he said. "You know who I'm talking about. Jay Z and Beyonce I've confirmed, and talked with a couple sources ... this secret would top all of them."
Dash's vice president of pop programming, Karli Henriquez, also confirmed the news telling E! Online at the time that the album would be "huge." Page Six also reported on the top-secret project citing anonymous sources who said the album was a go and Beyonce and Jay Z wanted to record it in Paris.
The source also told Page Six that the rumored project would include several music videos and a short movie.
