George Zimmerman Trial Live Stream: Ex-Neighborhood Watchman's Bloody Photos Revealed to Jury (WATCH)

One day after revealing graphic photos of the body of Trayvon Martin the state will call more witnesses in day 3 of the George Zimmerman murder trial, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The testimony from Sgt. Anthony Raimondo, one of the first Sanford police officers to respond to the shooting, was the most compelling of the day. Raimondo described how he had given CPR to a dying Martin and the way he tried to find the exit wound so he could seal it. The prosecution showed pictures of Martin, including close-ups of the bullet wound, during Raimondo's testimony. The pictures were too much for Martin's parents to take and they left the courtroom, according to the Associated Press.

Pictures of Zimmerman from the night of the altercation were also shown during day 2 of the trial. While not as haunting as the photos of Martin the pictures are key to telling the story of what happened that night. The pictures show Zimmerman with cuts on the back of his head and a gash at the bridge of his nose. Notably, pictures of his hands seemed to show no signs of being in a fight. The defense has made the case that Zimmerman was fighting for his life and that's why he was forced to shoot Martin; jurors will have to determine if this is true from the photos, according to the Washington Post.

As the pictures were shown to the jury Don West, an attorney for the defense, asked Diana Smith, the crime scene technician who worked on the murder scene, about the injuries. West specifically asked about the sidewalk where Zimmerman says Martin smashed his head and Smith replied that there was no blood found at the scene despite her search, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

Early on Wednesday a ruling is expected to come from Judge Debra Nelson on whether or not the prosecution will be allowed to play tapes of 911 calls Zimmerman had made in the months leading up to the incident for the jury. The prosecution has argued that the calls will show the state of mind that Zimmerman was in, the defense has objected saying that the calls were irrelevant, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Court resumes at 9:00 a.m. EST and a live stream of the trial can be seen here.
