Lifetime's "Witches of East End" was cancelled after two seasons on the air, but the supernatural series could find it's way back on the small screen.

Loyal fans of the show have created an online petition, urging the Lifetime Network to renew the show for a third season. As of Monday, the online petition has reached more than 100,600 signatures.

"It seems that the present television programming is in need of quality," the petition read. "You know, good old-fashioned television shows that the whole family can enjoy! The kind that you don't have to worry about if your teenagers or children watch [but], it is still something that [an] adult also find entertaining. We have that type of amazing television programming in Witches of East End."

It continued, "This show has brilliant actors and actresses, fantastic storylines that leave us seating on the edge of our seat in anticipation and a wonderful energy to the show in general. All of this is a risk of being lost if we don't pull together and show our support for this outstanding television show!"

Along with the petition, fans have taken to social media to help spread their message using the hashtag #RenewWitchesofEastEnd.

In November, Lifetime announced that they would not be moving forward with series, starring Julia Ormond, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Rachel Boston and Mädchen Amick. The show received a decline in ratings during its second season.

Digital Spy reported that the decision to renew the series is not up to Lifetime, since FOX Network holds the copyrights to the show. "Witches of East End" averaged 1.67 million viewers in its debut season, but dropped to 1.13 million during season two.

In an exclusive interview with EnStars, Amick opened up about the possibly of the show moving to another network.

"I was told directly from FOX that after the cancellation, if there was enough social media buzz, that at that point, they could shop the show around to other networks," Amick said. "And that they- both Lifetime and FOX- were very surprised that immediate reaction from the fans and how quickly they organized and made a really big buzz about how unhappy they were at that cancellation."
