Lady Gaga's dad, Joe Germanotta, freaked out on Twitter after receiving what he said was a "harsh" health inspection at his New York City restaurant, the Social News Daily reports. Joanne Trattoria, the Italian restaurant Germanotta opened a year-and-a-half ago with his wife Cynthia, received a visit from the Department of Health. During the inspection reportedly 19 violations were found downgrading the restaurant from an 'A' to a 'B.' Among the violations, three of which were critical, were "contaminated" food discovered in the kitchen, cleanliness and hand-washing signs not being displayed properly.
Germanotta was so enraged by the inspection that he took to Twitter to share his frustrations. In his string of Twitter rants he decided to blast the health inspector who gave him the grade by tweeting her name, badge number, her phone number and the boss's name. He also sent a tweet to Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
According to the Daily Mail this inspection isn't so bad for the eatery as it has seen worse days in the past. Reportedly last August the restaurant received a 'C' after 42 violations were found by inspectors. The place has also been receiving quite a few bad reviews lately after Leo Carey, The New Yorker's senior editor, wrote that the homemade focaccia was "good in the same way that the garlic bread at Dominos' is good."
Lady Gaga however loves the restaurant and blamed her weight gain on the "freaking delicious pizza and pasta" she eats every time she visits the Joanne Trattoria.
Even though Germanotta was angry about the whole thing, he didn't lose his sense of humor and retweeted a fan who said "@germanottajoe Just be glad Gaga wasn't in there wearing her meat dress. Lol. Trying to give you a little humor there. They are BULLIES!"
