Receipt Angers Dad On Father's Day: Man Charged For Having 'F***n Needy Kids' (VIDEO)

A man was charged at a St. Louis bar and grill for having "f***in needy kids" according to Gawker. Joseph Gibson reportedly dined at Friendly's Sports Bar and Grill with his 4-year-old son on Father's Day.

According to the St. Louis Post- Dispatch, while at Friendly's Sports Bar and Grill, Gibson asked the server for an additional chicken leg for his son. The request was granted although the establishment claims it is usually prohibited. The staff showed their irritation of the request by commenting via the father's receipt. The "f***in needy kids" comment was reportedly " a joke between the waitress and the cook" and was not suppose to appear on Gibson's receipt. This was explained to Gibson by the server, but Gibson was not amused.

An apology was issued. There have been no specific reports of the employees being disciplined for the incident.

The bar and grill usually prohibits the admittance of minors but Gibson called ahead and was welcomed by the general manager, Denny Domachowski.

"Normally, we don't let anyone in who's under 21. But the guy said he was with his kid for Father's Day and they were just leaving the (Missouri) Botanical Garden, so I said 'Sure'," Domachowski told the Dispatch.

Domachowski insists the father-duo's experience at Friendly's Sports Bar and Grill was pleasant prior to the inappropriate receipt.

CNN reports Gibson posted his complaint against the bar and grill on the Dispatch Facebook page with a picture of the receipt.

"So customers with children are a joke? This place isn't so friendly. I got nowhere with management," he wrote.

The man claims he was not looking to gain "anything out of it, but was pretty upset that it happened."
