She's exposed her tattoos, tongue, underwear and infamous twerking skills to the world, but now Miley Cyrus is showing more skin than before.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer posted a topless photo of herself on Instagram in support of the "Free the Nipple" campaign. According to E! News, the campaign's main goal is to end entertainment's "glorification of violence and repression of nudity."

"Some lame ass deff gonna [flag] that but f--kkkkkkk it," she captioned the black-and white picture which showed the singer resting her left arm across her chest. "#practicewhatchupreach #FreeTheNipple #FreedatShit."

The picture has been pulled down from the social media website.

Other celebrities involved in the "Free the Nipple" campaign include Rumer Willis, Scout Willis, Cara Delevigne, Liv Tyler and Lena Dunham. They all have spoken out about the media's unfair treatment and censorship of women's breast.

The former Disney darling, who is currently dating Patrick Schwarzenegger, has also spoken out against the double standard exists between men and women.

"Guys get to show their titties on the beach, why can't we," Cyrus told BBC Newsbeat. "I don't understand the double standard of life. I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women to not be scared of anything."

Most recently, Chelsea Handler, who also disagrees with Instagram's nudity policy, posted a topless photo of herself on a snowy mountain during her recent vacation. In November, several of Handler's photo's were removed from the photo-sharing website for violating its nudity guidelines.
