Man Calls Police On Prostitute Because She Was Ugly; Claims False Advertisement (LISTEN)

A man called police on a prostitute because she was "ugly" according to Express and Star.

"We had a call on Tuesday at about 7:30 p.m. The caller said he had arranged to meet a prostitute outside a hotel and he did not like the look of her," said Lee Page, a spokesman for the West Midlands Police Department.

According to reports, the man was upset because the prostitute was not as beautiful as he had hoped.

"He said she made herself out to be better than she was," Page said. "When he took issue with this she took his car keys, ran out of the car and then threw them back at him."

The unidentified caller accused the woman for "breaching the Sale of Goods Act for 'making herself out to be better looking than she was.'"

In return, the responding offer reminded the gentleman that soliciting sex was illegal. After probing the man for information, police were able to identify his whereabouts and send him a warning letter for wasting police officers time and attempting to have sex with a prostitute.

According to Express and Star, the initial call made by the disappointed man was terminated to ensure real emergency calls could be tended to. Someone from the police department made a follow up call.

"It was unbelievable; he genuinely believed he hadn't done nothing wrong and that the woman should have been investigated by police for misrepresentation," Sgt Jerome Moran of the Solihull police station told reporters. "I told him that she'd not committed any offenses and that is was his actions, in soliciting for sex, that were in fact illegal. Unhappy with the response, he then insisted on coming down to the police station to debate the matter."

The Soluhill police station shared the comical tale via Twitter.
