Trayvon Martin Trial Live Stream: George Zimmerman in Court as Jury Selection Continues

Jury selection will continue on Tuesday in the George Zimmerman trial. Roughly 100 potential jurors were introduced to Zimmerman prior to filling out questionnaires on Monday with 20 of them being asked to come back, according to ABC News.

The content of the questionnaire has been kept secret thus far. The murder of Trayvon Martin caused a media explosion thus making it more difficult to find jurors who have yet to make up their mind about what happened in Sanford, Fla., on February 26, 2012.

NBC News reports that the first four jurors called yesterday had knowledge of the case but claimed that they had not followed the coverage closely.

"There was fault on both sides as far as I can see," one of the potential jurors said. "It was two people being in the wrong place at the wrong time and two people instigating something that probably could have been avoided."

Robert Zimmerman, George's brother, told reporters that he was concerned that by making the jury selection public Judge Debra Nelson has made it more difficult to find a jury that will give his brother a fair trial, according to NBC News.

"I think it's important that jurors get to know that George is a real person," Robert said. "He's not just whatever images people flash across the screen or whatever narrative people write about. He's a sensitive person, he's generous. He is very likable if you actually get to meet him."

The jury selection process may take up to two weeks.
