Early Election Day votes have been cast by the residents of two villages in the north of New Hampshire giving President Obama and Republican Mitt Romney five votes each in Dixville Notch.
For the first time in the history of voting there was a tie with the results in the early votes. The first vote was caste by 24-year-old Tanner Tillotson, 24, who said he voted for the President.
"I think (the result) is very indicative, that this is the first time in Dixville Notch's history that there is a tie. We're still a very divided nation and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the country is," he said.
In Hart's location Obama had a lead with 23 votes while Romney received 9 votes and Libertarian Gary Johnson received one vote. The towns has had the privilege of early voting since 1948.
Obama is still focusing on the votes from Florida as being very important to win the election battle.
"This is going to be a turnout election," Obama said Monday in a radio interview. "We've got the votes to win Florida. It just depends on whether people turn out or not."
The campaigns proceedings seem to be on a run. President is likely to stay in Illinois on the Election Day according to his spokeswoman Jen Psaki.
"Without that state, it's a rocky road for them to victory. It's an insurmountable road, I would say," Psaki said.
Romney scheduled a late visit to Ohio, being the hardest-fought contest in the race. He asked for votes from his supporters in New Hampshire earlier in his campaign.
"It's all your votes and your work right here in New Hampshire that will help me become the next president of the United States," Romney said to the crowd. "We thank you and we ask you to stay in it all the way to the victory tomorrow night."
He said in Fairfax: "Change can't be measured in speeches, it's measured in achievements," referring Obama has not kept his promises.
The President in Madison, Wisconsin, said: "We have come too far to turn back now." He urged people to help him "finish what we started."
"This should not be that complicated. We tried our ideas, they worked," Obama said. "We tried their ideas, they didn't work."While fighting the presidential race Romney fired back with his allegations that the President is holding back the economy recovery. "The door to a brighter future is open, it's waiting for us. I need your vote, I need your help," Romney said. "Tomorrow, we begin a new tomorrow."
