Dakota Fanning Defends Kristen Stewart about Cheating Scandal

Dakota Fanning opened up to InStyle magazine about her co-star Kristen Stewart's scandal with "Snow White and the Huntsman" Director Rupert Sanders.

The 18-year-old actress, who plays Volturi vampire Jane in the hit "Twlight" saga films, spoke to InStyle magazine about Stewart's scandal saying no one has the rights to judge her for her actions with Sanders.

"Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicize the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all of that," she said. "It's like, 'Why do you think you are the authority to judge people's experiences?'"

Fanning has done more than 30 movies and is the youngest nominee for Screen Actors Guild Award. She's worked with everyone from Steven Spielberg to Robert DeNiro to Denzel Washington.

Fanning has appeared in many high-profile films such as "Man on Fire", "War of the Worlds", and "Charlotte's Web." She was also ranked fourth in Forbes for "Top Earning Stars Aged Under 21," she's earned an estimated $4 million in 2006.

Fanning also opened up about her love life and seems to be looking for a long-term relationship.

"You know, I'm not the kind of girl or person who really wants boyfriends in my life," she said. "I'm also the kind of person... I'm very black and white in what I feel and I don't wanna be with someone that I don't foresee spending a long time with."

Fanning faced some controversies with some roles she had to do in her career. Back in 2006 when she had to shoot a rape scene in the movie "Hounddog," her parents were criticized a lot for having their 14-year old daughter do the scene.

"I've always been drawn to material that's more kind of heavy, you know? Whether it be dark or dramatic or sometimes disturbing. And that can be hard to do when people think you're still a kid," she said in her defence.
