Are you team Batman or team Superman? There's been an ongoing debate among superhero fans about who would win in a fight: Batman or Superman. With the upcoming release of Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the debate has kicked into high gear and recently Batman himself has weighed in.

Ben Affleck, who will don the cape and cowl for "Dawn of Justice," appeared on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" to discuss his latest films. Affleck is starring in the David Fincher drama "Gone Girl." Affleck and Stewart were talking about "Gone Girl" when the comedian decided to joke about some potential "spoilers."

"So here's the thing, if I can," Stewart said. "In 'Gone Girl' he kills his wife. And then in 'Batman v Superman' Superman defeats Batman."

"What the f**k?" Affleck responded, laughing.

While it's not clear if Batman and Superman will duke it out in the film, it has been heavily speculated that the two superheroes will have some type of feud. Recent set photos teased the people of Metropolis were staging an anti-Superman protest and holding signs that read "Thanks for the 'HELP'" and "EARTH BELONGS TO HUMANS."

At the end of "Man of Steel" Superman defeated General Zod but caused a lot of destruction in Metropolis. Earlier in the week, more set photos surfaced that showed school kids sporting t-shirts that read, "Superman Survivor."

Batman-on-Film.com previously reported that it received some intel that the theme of the movie - or at least the first half - would be "anti-Superman" with people marching in the street to protest the Man of Steel.

The site also reported there were photos of Affleck "sporting very gray hair on his temples... as Bruce Wayne involved [in] a scene in the film where he's saving people after some sort of attack on Metropolis which caused a lot of destruction."

"Combine that with Bruce Wayne having to save a whole bunch of lives in Metropolis, and the shape of a plot seems to be emerging - and it might just be one where Superman plays the part of the bad guy, for the first half at least," Moviepilot.com reported at the time. "If the rumors are true, it sounds as though we're likely to see Batman hunt down Superman - with the backing of the general public - for the first part of the movie," Batman-on-film added.

Who do you think would win, Batman or Superman?
