More details are emerging about Zack Snyder's upcoming film "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice," and it looks like the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) has more than a few enemies. According to Screenrant.com, new set photos hint that people are not happy with Superman tearing up Metropolis.

In "Man of Steel," the film ended with Superman saving the world from General Zod, but Metropolis was almost destroyed in the process. The new photos leaked show what looks like people from the city boycotting Superman.

Some are holding signs that read "Thanks for the 'HELP'" and "EARTH BELONGS TO HUMANS." Earlier in the week, set photos emerged of students wearing "Superman Survivor" t-shirts. It's been rumored before that people weren't going to be too happy with the Man of Steel. Back in August, reports surfaced that Superman was going to be perceived as a villain instead of a hero.

Batman-on-film reported that the theme for "Dawn of Justice" was going to be "very anti-Superman" with people marching in the streets to protest the Man of Steel. The site also said that there were photos of Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman) "sporting very gray hair on his temples... as Bruce Wayne was involved in a scene in the film where's he's saving people after some sort of attack on Metropolis which caused a lot of destruction."

"Combine that with Bruce Wayne having to save a whole bunch of lives in Metropolis, and the shape of a plot seems to be emerging - and it might just be one where Superman plays the part of the bad guy, for the first half at least," Moviepilot.com reported at the time. "If the rumors are true, it sounds as though we're likely to see Batman hunt down Superman - with the backing of the general public - for the first part of the movie," Batman-on-film added.

There were also rumors that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) used the destruction from "Man of Steel" to turn the city into Superman-haters.

"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters Mar. 25, 2016.
