Many analysts and fans have berated Miami Heat stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh for their lack of support to reigning MVP Lebron James. After the Heat’s Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers, Wade said he and Bosh needed to be more involved in the offence, which rubbed some people the wrong way.
Bosh took a different approach, according to ESPN.com. He said he acknowledged his lack of effort to his teammates after Game 6, admitting he was “not being aggressive and not playing my best ball.”
"It's hard, it's difficult," said Bosh who has averaged only 11.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in the Eastern Conference Finals. "Everything you're going to do in the postseason is difficult. And you're going to be put in situations you don't want to be in and you're going to have to do things that you don't want to do. It's part of it, so you might as well get used to it, being miserable and really loving it."
Bosh, who is Miami’s center has taken taking more threes this series which may be taking away from his mid range and post game.
"I changed my game in Games 1 through 6 and it hasn't really worked. I just need to do what I do and just let it all hang out,” he said referring to Game 7.
Bosh was also asked about Wade’s postgame comments which discussed James’ attempts to do everything by himself.
"He can't," Bosh said in reference to James. "It's never been like that in team sports history. We can't just sit around and expect LeBron to do all the work and hope that he has a 50-point game. We have to do our part."
