Obama Receives Third Ricin-Tainted Pro-Gun Letter, Identical To Those Sent To Mayor Bloomberg [VIDEO]

White House officials confirmed on Thursday that a third threatening pro-gun letter - which is believed to have traces of ricin - was sent to the president, but was intercepted.

The letter did not make it to President Barack Obama, but raised some serious concerns when just Wednesday New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg received letter similar in nature.

"The letter has been turned over to the FBI Join Terrorism Task Force for testing and investigation," said a secret service spokesperson.

Officials are confirming that the text of the letters were identical to the two letter received on Wednesday by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and read, "You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns. Anyone wants to come to my house will get shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional God-given right and I will exercise that right till the day I die. What's in this letter is nothing compared to what I have planned for you."

Bloomberg spoke to ABC News late Wednesday and said that he was not angry.

"There are people that do things that might appear irrational - things that are wrong," he said. "But it's a complex world out there. And you just have to deal with that."

Another government official that has joined Bloomberg and co-directed the nonprofit Mayors Against Illegal Guns, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, said, "[Bloomberg] was marked because of his position, and my position, on illegal guns."

"This is not going to stop us. They can make all the threats they want."

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ricin at its most dangerous can cause death form symptoms like breath restriction, dangerous fevers, violent nausea, and much more depending on how the poisonous substance is introduced to the body.
