After the success of the Resident Evil: Revelations in Nintendo 3DS, the game expands to other platforms, and is now available on Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and Windows PC.
From the small screen of the Nintendo 3DS to the big screens needed for the consoles, the game has been revamped to support High Definition Visuals and Better Audio. It also comes with more features than Nintendo 3DS. The only drawback is that it doesn't support 3D technology that Nintendo 3DS has.
A gamer can maximize the Windows PC experience if played on a 27-inch monitor with a stable internet connection such as Steam's. The multiplayer option allows user to team up with someone to take on the enemies from various missions and level up each of chosen characters. Infernal, a new mode featured in the game, would test the players' skills as it will randomly spawn enemies as well as the weapons available.
Capcom has added new characters named Hunk and Rachel, an enemy named Wall Blister, and new items and weapons along with upped production values. It also added support for residentevil.net, a community portal where the players can review their game statistics and unlock new contents. A downloadable content is also available for the game featuring new pistols, bonus characters, and more.
If you opt not to use the television for the Wii U, the game can be easily transferred to its Game Pad.
Marc Saltzman of USA TODAY reviewed the game using the new platforms and wrote in the website "the game isn't flawless. After some time, the combat would be a little repetitive, and the AI of the enemies isn't that well built at times, but overall, the experience on playing Resident Evil: Revelations on a bigger screen with a better sound system is better than its portable predecessor."
