It's no surprise that New Jersey governor Chris Christie was not a fan of the hit reality show "Jersey Shore." Some of the cast mates were often filmed getting drunk, getting into fights and getting arrested on the Seaside Heights boardwalk.
The most outspoken cast member, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi recently met the governor at the infamous shore beach.
The governor, as well as the cast members of the show, were at the boardwalk to reopen the beach to the public. According to the Daily Mail, after finishing separate tapings for the "Today" show, Snooki approached the governor to address why he has been so critical about the show's influence on Seaside in the past.
There exchange was filmed by the Asbury Park Press. In the video Snooki told the governor to step back.
"Why are you standing so close to me," Snooki asked laughing in which the governor leans in closer.
Deena Cortese tells the governor she is from Jersey and tells him she thought he did a good job with Hurricane Sandy. The governor thanks her and turns his attention back to Snooki.
The pint-size reality star sticks her hand out to the governor and said, "I just wanted to meet you, and just, hope you start to like us."
As Governor Christie shakes the hand of the three cast members he tells Snooki "we'll do our best" and walks away.
"He just doesn't like us," she tells the cameraman.
Clearly not happy with the meeting, Snooki decided to share her feelings on Twitter posting a picture of her and the governor with the caption "Getting told we are bad for Jersey. Amazing."
