Microsoft's Xbox One gamers will be welcoming a host of new features to their consoles this July, Major Nelson gives a glimpse of the updates.

Microsoft's Xbox One is up for the next big monthly update in July and the company has already teased a few notable changes coming to the next-gen gaming console. Xbox Live's Major Nelson, Larry Hryb teased the upcoming Xbox One features in the company's blog, last week. The details included great news for gamers picking up the Xbox One without the Kinect and the achievement watchers.

At the E3 conference this month, Microsoft unveiled a list of blockbuster exclusives for the Xbox One. Now, the software giant is showcasing the next slew of updates to the console, which will add meaningful changes to the Kinect-less Xbox One consoles. According to the company's Xbox Wire blog, some of the features that will come in July include, Snap Mode for achievements, Snap Menu with double tap on controller, choice of spoken language and more.

"As we pack up our booth, we end E3 just as we started: Our focus is on you. You've shaped Xbox into what it is today, and we can't thank you enough," Hryb, director of programming at Xbox Live, wrote in a blog Friday. "We look forward to hearing more from you over the coming weeks - now, officially on Xbox Feedback - a dedicated channel for all your thoughts and recommendations. From what we've seen this week, your feedback continues to be amazing. As of today, more than 65,000 fans like you have suggested more than 4300 ideas and contributed over 180,000 votes."

With the inclusion of Snap Mode, as demonstrated at the E3 event, Xbox One gamers can see the game progress toward goals in real time. The targets closest to unlocking will appear on the top and gamers can move the important achievements to the top of the list for better tracking while playing the game. The new mode will also allow looking up tips for achieving goals without stopping the game. This enables users to multi-task without having to compromise on the gaming experience.

The July update will also bring a new Snap Center for gamers, which will allow a look at any snap-friendly application without leaving the game-play. Gamers can double-tap the home button on the controller to switch between the game and the snapped app, as well as launch achievements or other snap-friendly apps. The feature can be extremely helpful for those who are picking up the Xbox One console without its Kinect peripheral, an option which Microsoft started to attract new gamers with a reduced price tag of $399 instead of $499.

One can now also like game DVR clips and activity feeds from others using the Xbox One SmartGlass app.
