Comedian and Nerdist founder Chris Hardwick dished his thoughts about the "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" hype to "Larry King Now."

Hardwick explained to King why there has been negative attention surrounding the film.  The comedian explained it much easier to hate on a production than say you agree with what they are doing.

"The louder voices on the internet are always the negative ones," Hardwick told King. "Because anger and hate is a more powerful motivator to action than 'oh, that sounds nice.' If I think 'oh, that sounds nice,' I'm not going to go to the internet and write that."

As for Ben Affleck's casting, Hardwick referred to the outrage surrounding Robert Downey Jr.'s casting in Marvel's "Iron Man" franchise.

"I think people forget that, before Iron Man came out and started the whole Marvel chain of events, Iron Man was not a character that was at the forefront of comics at the time," Hardwick said, "and Robert Downey, Jr. was almost unemployable at the time. And everyone was like, 'What? Iron Man? Are you kidding me?' And then it came out and it was like 'Holy crap! Iron Man! Robert Downey, Jr.!' I love to be surprised by people, and I love to be excited by things."

However, another comedian who visited King's show doesn't share the same opinion.  Actor Seth Green explained to King back in February why Affleck would make for a terrible Batman.

You have to remember that Batman is just a dude. He's got no powers. So the fact that Superman is scared of him says something about the gravitas he carries. And it's not just because he's willing to kill. It's because he's scary," Green explained.

"There is only so much you can act a role before people are or are not going to believe you in that role," Green added. "I'm never going to play a MMA fighter, because I'd step into the ring with an actual MMA fighter like Batista, and I wouldn't look correct, so there is a physicality of it."

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released to theaters May 6, 2016.
