Robert Pattinson remained tight lipped about his relationships with Kristen Stewart but confirmed the two were still in touch with each other in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, known to many as Edward and Bella, were Hollywood's most adored couple, giving rise to the nickname "Robsten." However, everything changed when Stewart was caught cheating on Pattinson with "Snow White and The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders in June 2012. As much as Stewart tried to mend things after the fling, things changed and the couple finally called it quits in May 2013.
Rumors of reconciliation between the two make the rounds once in a while, though neither Pattinson nor Stewart has confirmed or commented about anything regarding where their relationship stands now. Even during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the "Maps to the Stars" actor remained tight lipped about Stewart, answering with a blithe "Oh yeah!" when asked if he was still in touch with Stewart.
He was more eager to talk about his experience being Edward Cullen during the entire "Twilight" series.
"It was quite a constricting character, in a way," he told the magazine. "You want to make [him] as dramatic as possible, but you have someone who never loses his temper, and so it's like, 'How the f--- do you do this?' I think that was one of the hardest jobs I've ever done."
The actor admitted that time has helped him adapt to the life of a celebrity and now he can't even remember what life was like before he became famous.
Along with fame, the "Twilight" series also gave Pattinson love. It was during the shooting of this film that he fell in love with Stewart. According to a recent Celebrity Dirty Laundry report, sources have confirmed to the tabloid that the two will be starring together in another film pretty soon. With this news, fans are hopeful that history might repeat itself. Though the title of the film was not revealed, sources said it will definitely not be an adult film and will mostly cater to the likes of teenagers and young adults.
Steward too seems to have moved past the breakup drama and is now focusing more on her career. She won rave reviews for her role in "The Clouds of Sils Maria", which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, May 23. Talking about her role, she said she's glad to have had a chance to explore the other side of fame, with all the ambivalence and fascination about celebrity culture that the part required, according to a Wall Street Journal report. She also made her directorial debut with a music video she directed for the "Sage and The Saints" band.
