Candice Swanepoel topped Maxim's 2014 Hot 100 and was named the world's most desirable woman.
She has the grace, the eyes and the body to die for. No wonder she's the world's most desirable woman. Yes! We're talking about none other than Candice Swanepoel. This 24-year-old model was ranked number one on Maxim's 2014 Hot 100 list.
"It's not only her flawless beauty and effortless grace that have garnered her the coveted 2014 Hot 100 Number 1 placement, but also her business acumen. She has risen to become one of the world's top supermodels and has transcended the accolade to become a global brand. It's hard to imagine a woman more perfect," the magazine's creative director Paul Martinez said, according to WonderWall.
Though Rihanna and Beyonce are her personal number ones, Swanepoel said she was honored to top this year's list.
"It's a huge honour to be Maxim's No. 1, among so many beautiful and talented women! It's a great feeling," The Mirror quoted the South African beauty as saying.
Just missing out the top spot was Scarlett Johansson in second place, Katy Perry in third, Irina Shayk - the girlfriend of soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo - was in the fourth spot.
Hunger Games' Jennifer Lawrence was placed fifth, though she grabbed number one spot on FHM's sexiest women list. Actress Zooey Deschanel was sixth, followed by model Alessandra Ambrosio, Jessica Alba, Mila Kunis and Cara Delevingne came tenth.
Last year's topper Miley Cyrus dropped down to the 25th spot. This comes as no surprise as the songstress has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Other former Disney stars to make it on the list include Selena Gomez, who was ranked 19th and Demi Lovato, placed in the 40th position. Lovato may not be the perfect definition of a "hot" celebrity but she's definitely sexy in her own way. According to her, her best physical attribute is her "butt."
"To me, sexiness stems from being confident and comfortable in your own skin," the "Neon Lights" singer told Us Weekly recently. "The ability to work at bettering myself -- I'm not perfect, no one is, but I'm working at becoming better every day. Every day I can look back and say I'm in a better place than I was yesterday."
