Maksim Chmerkovskiy is not opposed to sitting at the "Dancing With the Stars" judges' table with Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. On the Season 18 finale (where Chmerkovskiy and his partner Meryl Davis were crowned winners), head judge Len Goodman hinted that he might not return to the show.

Chmerkovskiy and Davis were on "The Wendy Williams Show" and was asked about Goodman's possible departure.

"I understand Len is leaving; if they offer you a judge job, would you take it?" Williams asked the professional dancer.

He immediately said "Yeah."

The talk show host thought it could be a good idea but said that she was a little disappointed when he guest judged on Season 17. Williams told Chmerkovskiy that she thought he would be the "Simon [Cowell] of the dance world" but he was a little "soft."

"I'm not Simon... I'm not a nice judge," he said. "I'm a good judge. I judge the way it's supposed to be. I know this business, I've been in it, I grew up in it. Somebody asked me yesterday why I started dancing and I once again thought about it. I was 4 years old. Who knows why? Spending 30 years in an industry, that you, you know, I think I've done a little bit in it. I know what I'm talking about. Unlike some of the guest judges that we had this season."

Chmerkovskiy was, of course, referring to Abby Lee Miller.

Williams also asked the winners about dating rumors. It's obvious the two had excellent chemistry on the show and a lot of people are wondering if that connection extended beyond the dance floor. Davis told Williams that she is not dating Chmerkovskiy but wouldn't say if she had a boyfriend.
