The Internet just about exploded when Zack Snyder released the first official image of Ben Affleck in the Batsuit standing next to the Batmobile for the upcoming film "Batman Vs. Superman." The big reveal came after the director teased a photo of the Caped Crusader's ride on May 12.

He has not released images of Henry Cavill as Superman or Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman yet. Not long after the Batsuit photo made its rounds, fans started speculating that the Joker was creeping in the background, Comicbook.com reports.

"I keep seeing a joker face in the smoke/back wheel of the batmobile. Just me?" @no_ones_hero tweeted.

"Im sorry but is nobody seeing the Joker's laughing face behind #batman No? Just me then> #batsuit #batmobile @Zack Snyder," @Logiebaird posted.

"Freaky looks like the Joker possessed the Batmobile," @GothamTVPodcast wrote.

It turns out the Batman villain is NOT in the background. What fans thought they saw turned out to be the wheel of the Batmobile with some type of metal covering on it. According to Comicbook.com, the speculation started because FOX recently released their first cast photo from the TV show "Gotham" and in the image there was nod to the Joker.

The site claims it was really hard to miss, but in an enlarged picture there was a casino billboard featuring a Joker clue.

There's speculation that later in the week Snyder will release images of Wonder Woman and Superman. Last month, the director talked about the costumes to Forbes recalling the first encounter he had when testing the Batsuit and the Superman costume.

"The thing also that's really fascinating for me is that, even just in the tests we've been doing, the costumes, right? You basically have Batman and Superman - and this is without Ben [Affleck] and Henry [Cavill] in the costumes, but just like the stand-ins, just testing to see what the costumes look like," Snyder told Forbes. "And you have them standing there and they're standing in the same shot - and then we have Wonder Woman, you know, all three of them in the same shot. Even just for a test, you really have to go, 'Wow, that's crazy!'"
