In the latest internet craze, called hadouken, people imitate midair fight moves from the video game "Street Fighter" and posts the pictures on the web. Actress Jessica Alba, is the latest celebrity to join in on trend.
Alba has been posting the action-packed pictures on her Instagram account. The pictures show Alba and her "Honest" co-workers showing off their video game moves. She even got her husband, Cash Warren, involved having a professional photographer take some shots of the two as they "fight" it out in front of the camera.
The photo craze trend was inspired by the video game "Street Fighter" and began with schoolgirls in Japan, but has since taken on a life of its own, the New York Daily News reports. People add special effects to the photos so it appears that lightening energy is escaping their hands. Some people also pose smashing the ground to create a shock wave. However, there are rules to master hadouken-ing.
Rule No. 1, there has to be at least one person releasing the energy from their hands. Rule No. 2, there must be people reacting from the energy being shot at them either by falling, freezing or being thrown into the air. And rule No. 3, a third party must snap a picture to capture the moment.
The Daily News adds that in order to get a great shot timing is important and participants need to very convincing facial expressions.
Other celebrities have also joined in on the craze. The cast of the "Good Wife" posted a picture on the Twitter account of Ana Gasteyer, who has been a guest star on the show as Judge Patrice Lessner.
Carrie Keagan, host of VH1's "Big Morning Buzz" also tweeted photos of her and the crew showing off their hadouken moves.
