Kandi Burrus is a married woman! The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star wed her fiancé Todd Tucker in front of family and friends on Friday, Apr. 4 in Atlanta. Burruss confirmed the news to In Touch magazine.

"This is one of the best days of my life. And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it's all been so beautiful," the 37-year-old said. "Now it's time to party."

"I never imagined that I would marry my best friend," Burruss added. "Todd's been that to me."

Last week the singer/songwriter had her bachelorette party in Atlanta. Two fellow cast mates - Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams - as well as her mother, Mama Joyce, were all present. Tucker also had his bachelor party at Onyx in Atlanta. His party was hosted by fellow "Housewives" costar Apollo Nida.

Tucker and Burruss first met in 2011 on the set of the Bravo reality show. At the time Tucker was a line producer. After dating for a few years, the couple announced their engagement in January 2013. The road to the alter has been a very tricky one for the singer.

Throughout the entire season "RHOA," Burruss' mother has expressed her dislike for Tucker and their choice to get married. Mama Joyce constantly accused Tucker of being an opportunist and even said that she thought he had cheated on Burruss with her best friend.

The bickering and accusations took a toll on Burruss' relationship with her mother. However, it seems like the mother and daughter have put their issues aside. Back in January, Mama Joyce said she was going to stay out of Tucker and Burruss' relationship.

"They're together but I'm out of their relationship," she said in January, Bravo reports. "It's much healthier. I have rekindled a very healthy relationship with my daughter and my granddaughter [Riley], and we are in a very good place... I pray and hope that I'm wrong about Todd."
