Paltrow ‘I’m Never Going Again’: Actress Calls Met gala ‘Un-fun’; No More Vogue Covers?

Gwyneth Paltrow looked beautiful walking the red carpet at the annual Met Ball in a pink Valentino dress.

The Ball is an extremely important night for Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour with models and actresses thrilled to get an invitation to the coveted event. Paltrow who has attended the event in the past seems to have had a horrible night at this year's gala.

She told USA Today that she would not be attending next year.

"I'm never going again. It was so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all," Paltrow told the newspaper.

It's not clear what exactly caused Paltrow to cross the event off her list of things-to-do but since the gala is hosted by Vogue, Paltrow might have inadvertently hurt her chance of gracing their cover for an eighth time. The actress, who was recently voted as People magazine's most beautiful woman of 2013, has landed on Vogue magazine covers seven times. The last time was for Vogue's August 2010 "age" issue.

The 40-year-old Oscar winning actress spoke to Vogue magazine about her skipping out on the punk theme.

"I guess it's punk in that I've gone just totally classic on a punk night," Paltrow told the magazine.

The event kicked off the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art's "Punk: Chaos to Couture" exhibition. The display will run until Aug. 11.

According to Women's Wear Daily, the exhibition will "highlight the origins of the punk movement and draw direct connections to haute couture and ready-to-wear creations that it has inspired for the past three decades."

Instead of focusing on one designer's retrospective like the past two years, this year's exhibit will include looks from Azzedine Alaia, Ann Demeulemeester, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Rei Kawakubo, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang and Rodarte.
