A lockdown was lifted at Chester High School in Pennsylvania after reports of gunfire nearby on Monday, CBS News reported.
The shooting was reported to police around 8 a.m. from the school near suburban Philadelphia. According to officers, the gunfire occurred close enough to the school to enforce a lockdown.
There were no reported injuries. However, an unidentified person suffered an injury after running and falling and refused to seek medical treatment.
Captain Anita Amaro told the AP that officers did not find any shell casings but continued to check nearby hospitals for any victims.
Around 9 a.m., the lockdown at the school was lifted.
The incident remains under investigation by police.
