According to reports, Chris Brown is having a very difficult time in jail. A source told Hollywood Life that the 24-year-old singer is being harassed by other inmates for beating up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. According to the source, Brown has become the center of ridicule and the other prisoners have been calling him names.

"One inmate said in passing 'you a b**ch for hitting Rihanna,'" the source said.

The "Love More" singer is currently serving time in Mens Central Jail in Los Angeles for violating his probation and getting kicked out of rehab. He's expected to stay behind bars until the middle of April. His lawyer tried to get Brown released early but a judge denied the request saying that the R&B singer had an "inability to stay out of trouble."

Hopefully Brown won't let the negative comments from the inmates get to him. The source told Hollywood Life that Brown is doing his best to ignore the ridicule but it does upset him.

"They be saying other stuff too, like 'you ain't no rapper, you a whack R&B singer,'" the source continued. "They're in there trying to break him down."

There was also another report by Hollywood Life claiming that the star was depressed and not eating or sleeping. A source reportedly said that the singer was desperately waiting to be released from the Los Angeles jail.

"It's bad, all bad for Chris," the source said. "He's not doing well at all. He's not eating, not sleeping, and he's out of his mind."

"He talks to himself. He's tired and frustrated and feels like he's trapped like a small hamster in a cage," the source added.

Even though the inmates are reportedly bullying Brown for attacking Rihanna, there have been reports that she secretly tried to visit him in jail.
