A gang member accused of killing a his lover and her two-year-old son was added to the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List," the New York Daily News reported.

Juan Elias Garcia, also called "Cruzito," is a member of the MS-13 and allegedly killed Vanessa Argueta, 19, and her son, Diego Torres.

"He stood by while his confederate (Adalberto Ariel) Guzman killed Diego Torres," Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said. "His loyalty to the international killing machine known as MS-13 was greater than any affection he felt for her or her 2-year-old son, despite the time he spent with both of them."

Authorities say Garcia, Guzman, and a third gang member, Rene Mendez Mejia, escaped to Central Park after killing Argueta and Torres in February 2010.

"The execution-style murders of Vanessa and her 2-year-old son is a new low, even for MS-13," said George Venizelos of the FBI's New York field office.

Garcia, 21, is described as 5-foot-4 inches tall and 124 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is the 501st person added to the list and the FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Officials added that Argueta had connections to two gangs -- the 18th Street Gang and The Latin Kings -- which are rivals of the MS-13.

When Garcia and Argueta ran into relationship troubles, Garcia received the green light from local MS-13 leader Heriberto Martinez "to retaliate against Argueta."
