American music superstar Taylor Swift - who is currently in Singapore as part of her Eras Tour - has urged people in the 15 states and one territory participating in "Super Tuesday" to get out and vote in their parties' respective presidential primaries.

"Today, March 5, is the Presidential Primary in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories," Swift wrote in her Instagram story. "I wanted to remind you guys to vote the people who most represent YOU into power. If you haven't already, make a plan to vote today."

The pop star also provided a link to Vote.org so that her fans, commonly known as Swifties, could check their polling places and times.

It is expected that Republican candidates Donald Trump and Nikki Haley and US President Joe Biden, who would run to secure the Democratic Party nomination, Fox News Digital reported.

'Miss Americana' Urges Super Tuesday Swifties to Vote

Swift's Super Tuesday message was not the first time she made a political statement, which she rarely did.

She previously encouraged young people to take advantage of early voting in the 2020 election, where she endorsed Biden. This matter has come back to haunt political pundits and pop culture observers about her alleged political influence ever since she was linked to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

Swift has not yet endorsed a candidate for president in 2024, but she has endorsed Democrat candidates in recent elections.

"I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country," she wrote during her endorsement of Tennessee Democrats Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper.
