Adele is taking a break from her Las Vegas residency to rest her voice. Regrettably, the singer, 35, announced in a social media post on Tuesday that they have to take a break and postpone their Vegas residency.

She mentioned being ill at the end of the previous leg and throughout her break, noting that she hadn't fully recovered before the shows started again. LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 12: Singer Adele, winner of the GRAMMYs for Record of the Year for "Rolling In The Deep", Album of the Year for "21", Song of the Year for "Rolling In The Deep", Best Pop Solo Performance for "Someone Like You", Best Pop Vocal Album for "21" and Best Short Form Music Video for "Rolling In The Deep", poses in the press room at the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center on February 12, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.

British singer Adele, known for her powerful voice and emotional performances, has announced the postponement of the remaining shows of her 'Weekends with Adele' residency in Las Vegas. The decision, she explained in a heartfelt message to her fans, comes under doctor's orders, compelling her to prioritize her health and well-being.

In a statement shared on social media, Adele expressed her regret and emphasized the necessity of rest, stating, "And so on Doctors orders I have no choice but to rest thoroughly. The remaining 5 weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date. We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information asap."

Adding a personal touch, she captioned her post with words of affection for her fans, writing, "I love you, I'll miss you like mad and I'm sorry for the inconvenience x".

This isn't the first time Adele has faced setbacks with her Las Vegas shows. Originally slated to begin in January 2022, her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace encountered delays, with Adele tearfully explaining the situation to her followers just hours before the scheduled debut.

Reflecting on the previous challenges, Adele described feeling like a "shell of a person" due to the intense reaction to the initial postponement. She acknowledged her devastation and the weight of disappointment felt by her fans, expressing her determination to uphold her standards of performance quality, according to Independent.

Adele Overcomes Vocal Strain

Adele's history with vocal issues is well-documented. In 2011, she underwent high-risk laser surgery after suffering a throat haemorrhage, an experience that compelled her to relearn how to sing.

Concerns about vocal strain resurfaced as she prepared to resume her residency, with Adele admitting apprehension about the toll of frequent performances. Despite her nerves, she remained committed to delivering authentic, live performances for her audience.

The postponed dates, spanning from March 1 to March 30, represent a significant adjustment to Adele's ambitious residency schedule, which initially extended until June 2024. The extension, announced last October, aimed to accommodate the overwhelming demand for tickets and additional performances.

Adele's candid acknowledgment of her health needs underscores the importance of prioritizing well-being in the demanding world of entertainment. While fans may experience disappointment, Adele's decision reflects her unwavering commitment to delivering nothing short of excellence on stage.

As plans for rescheduled dates take shape, Adele reassures her supporters that details will be communicated promptly, ensuring that they have the opportunity to experience her unforgettable performances at a later date, CNN News reported.
