Tom Cruise Ends Relationship With Russian Girlfriend Days After Meeting Her Children

The actor Tom Cruise has allegedly split up with his Russian girlfriend, Elsina Khayrova, a few days after reports claimed that he met her children.

The couple started liking each other for the first time in December last year after they were seen cuddling during a private party in London's Mayfair.

Tom Cruise Breaks Up With Khayrova

According to a report by The Sun, the 'Top Gun' actor ended his relationship with Khayrova. However, he said he still wanted to stay friends with Khayrova because they lived in the same apartment block in London.

"To end things on a bad note would have been awkward if they'd bumped into each other in the lift," a source told the news outlet. "There are no hard feelings between them, and for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course."

The couple broke up days after the actor had met Khayrova's children. She and Russian oligarch Dimitry Tsvetkov, her ex-husband, share a son and daughter.

A source told Page Six that Cruise had been staying at Khayrova's place and that they enjoy hanging out together as they still do many things that normal couples do despite their wealth.

Furthermore, an insider claimed that the couple never appeared in photos together during their brief affair. The insider added that they take great care not to be photographed together to maintain privacy.

Khayrova's Ex-Husband Warns Cruise

Following the media's revelation of Cruise and Khayrova's romance, Tsvetkov spoke out. The Russian oligarch had an 11-year marriage to Khayrova, a phase he recalls without fondness.

He claimed that to meet Khayrova's "expensive and luxurious taste," he spent millions of dollars purchasing designer clothing, handbags, and other luxury goods during their marriage.

Given her expectations for such luxury, Tsvetkov believes that any new man entering his ex's life should be prepared to match or exceed those expenses.

Tsvetkov told the Daily Mail that whoever she was with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste.

He warned Cruise to keep his eyes and wallet wide open but noted that he was happy for Khayrova and wished her all the best.

The Russian oligarch claimed to have lost a considerable portion of his fortune throughout the three years of their court battle to pay for their expensive divorce settlement and legal bills.

Tsvetkov added that Khayrova received all of the luxury gifts he bought her, some of which cost more than $40,000.

Although he did not share his reasons, Tsetkov revealed that he had not communicated with Khayrova since their divorce. He added that he did not talk to her about her supposed connection with Cruise at the time.
