Shoppers wait in line to pay for their purchases at a Walmart store in Los Angeles, California on November 24, 2009, a few days before Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving which kicks off the holiday shopping season.

A video showing the disappointing act of Walmart Spark contractors was recorded by YouTuber Uber Lyft Phoenix, who usually posts tips on how to max out income from gigs and other extra jobs.

He posted the video on YouTube on Jan. 7 to help other Walmart consumers become aware of the situation. Aside from leaving food under the sun, he also explained other issues revolving around the incident.

According to The US Sun's latest report, what Uber Lyft Phoenix saw and recorded were Walmart Spark contractors, who were waiting in a Walmart parking lot in Arizona.

In the video, you can see that the two men have carts full of perishable items. For those who are not familiar with the Spark Driver, it is a third-party contractor of Walmart that hires delivery drivers to shop or deliver for the American retail giant's customers.

The viral video, which generated over 230,000 views, 3,000 likes, and 1,300 comments, showed that the Walmart carts are filled with household essentials.
These include dairy items, such as milk, vegetables, and fruits, as well as soft drinks and other perishables.

"How does the app not catch this, that these orders are not being taken to the customer? This is the first time I've caught them [the drivers] chilling in the parking lot, leaving it in the cart like this," said the YouTuber, who said that he's also a Spark contractor.

A female Wal-Mart employee walks through a parking lot as she returns to work at a Wal-Mart store June 23, 2004 in St. Charles, Illinois. A federal judge has ruled that Wal-Mart may be sued for sex-discrimination, the suit will be the largest class-action civil rights case in U.S. history.

Leaving perishables in the hot sun is just the tip of the iceberg as Uber Lyft Phoenix said that the Walmart Spark delivery app has been taken over by groups of organized immigrants with fake accounts.

"They have some sort of technology referred to as a bot, that allows them to capture all the express shopping orders before the legitimate drivers," he added.

The YouTuber claimed that this issue has been happening and that there's a higher-up figure in Walmart that helps them do so. In return, the higher up will take a percentage of the income.

"These are the people that will be delivering your orders unless action is taken. All gig companies have chosen to ignore the problem for the time being," he added.
