According to Yahoo News' latest report, Kevin and his daughter initially received around $350,000 from kind-hearted people. The tenured Burger King staff said that he spent $177,000 to buy his first house in Pahrump, Nevada.

Ford added that the remaining money will be left for his daughter so that she can also buy her own place, as well as for his grandchildren.

"I wanted to show you something, something you made possible, you did for me, just a hardworking guy," he said via his official YouTube video.

"I just want to thank everybody for being part of this miracle," added Kevin.

At first, Kevin's daughter was just asking for $200 donations so that her father could visit his beloved grandkids. But, many people decided to exceed that and donated a hefty amount of money, allowing them to receive over $439,000.

Based on the images posted on Kevin Ford's official GoFundMe, the house that he purchased is an 846-square-foot bungalow that has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a covered front deck.

There's also a fenced-in yard. The location of his house is great since he can see the surrounding mountains. But, he clarified that more work is still needed.

Kevin said to his supporters that he would invest more money into the place to improve it. But, they are no longer asking for more donations since what people gave them is more than enough.

"Now I know it needs some work, gonna cut off the haters already, I know it's not a mansion, but it's mine," said the viral Burger King employee.
